Often repairing or restoring an older jacket can save you money by not having to purchase a new one. I have painted on several older jackets, some dating back to World War II, and they are fine to paint on.
Please let me introduce Willow Evans. She is a great seamstress and very qualified to work with leather jackets. I highly recommend her. She can improve the appearance of leather, sew on new cuffs, lining and/or waistbands, or replace a zipper. Willow also does beautiful alternations on non-leather garments such as shortening sleeves, correcting shoulders, replacing collars, etc. Whatever you need, she can do it.
